How these images are made

Every model photo in this shop is AI-generated. That isn't buried in the fine print here, because it's the most interesting part of the whole thing.

What's real and what isn't

The people in the photos don't exist. They're invented, with fixed descriptions, so the same person stays the same across every image. The motifs are the opposite: I drew those, line by line. And the goods are ordinary goods — embroidered, printed, packed and shipped.

Why I work this way

A shoot costs a studio, a crew and a day. For every motif I want to try. That's what everything I wanted to show used to fail on — not the idea, the budget. Now I can draw a motif in the morning and see how it looks worn by the afternoon. That's the whole difference.

How it's built

Not one button. There are character sheets for every figure that go word-for-word into each generation, so faces and builds don't drift. There are measured rules for light, background and framing. And there's an approval, image by image — what isn't right doesn't reach the shop. The motif itself is never generated: the real print file always sits on top.

It's under construction, and it shows

This is new — for me and for the tools. Sometimes a figure has one scar too many, sometimes something jams in the ordering flow. If you spot something: write me. I'm building this in the open instead of waiting until it's perfect — that takes forever, and honestly the process is the more interesting part.

What's coming

I write along in the blog about how all this comes together, and at some point that will probably turn into a proper guide — more people ask me than I can answer. If you want to hear about it, sign up to the newsletter.
