Warranty & defects
Last updated: July 2026
What applies when something arrives damaged, wrong or faulty — and how to report it. §§ 8 and 19 of the Terms apply in addition. Mandatory consumer rights of the country the goods are delivered to remain unaffected by these policies and apply in addition where they go further.
The statutory warranty applies
The statutory provisions on liability for defects apply to delivered goods (§ 19 of the Terms). No guarantee beyond that is given — what is promised is in the law and in the Terms, not in a marketing claim.
Transport damage
If a parcel arrives damaged, that is a warranty case. Photos of the goods and of the shipping packaging help, ideally before everything is unpacked — that is what makes the damage provable towards the carrier.
Print faults, wrong size, wrong item
If the delivered piece differs from the order — wrong artwork, wrong size, a visible print or embroidery fault — the same applies: report it with your order number and photos.
In these cases the seller bears the cost of cure, including transport costs (§ 439 (2) German Civil Code). That is the difference from withdrawal, where the return is at the customer's expense.
How to report a defect
By email to hey@henny.info, with your order number, a short description and photos. The reply comes by email to the same address.
Report it as early as you can — the earlier, the easier it is to establish what happened. As a consumer your statutory rights do not depend on reporting immediately. For businesses § 8 of the Terms applies: obvious defects must be reported in text form promptly after delivery.
Passing of risk
If the customer is a consumer, the risk of accidental loss or deterioration passes on handover of the goods. If the customer is a business, it passes on handover to the carrier (§ 19 of the Terms).
Country addendum: Australia
For deliveries to Australia, the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply. They cannot be excluded and are not subject to any fixed time limit; any time periods stated in these policies do not limit them. The following notice is prescribed by Australian law and is therefore kept in its original English wording:
“Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.”
The warrantor is Typhora Group LLC, 33 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA · +1 878 888 1912 · hey@typhora.group. Report defects by email; for justified defect claims we bear all costs of the claim.
Country addendum: United Kingdom
For deliveries to the United Kingdom, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply. This includes in particular the short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of receipt and to claim a full refund. Claims for faulty goods are not limited to two years; the statutory limitation periods of the United Kingdom apply. Any time periods stated in these policies are minimum statements in this respect.
