Shipping & delivery

Last updated: July 2026

The numbers first: what shipping costs where, how long it takes and where import charges apply. The explanation follows further down. The Terms (§§ 15 and 17) prevail.

What shipping costs

A rough orientation for single items. The exact amount is calculated during checkout, for your cart and your delivery country.

DestinationCapHoodiePoster A2Framed posterDelivery time
EU (measured: Germany)$4.79$6.99$5.79$7.491–2 days
United Kingdom$4.39$6.99$5.79$6.99
Switzerland$9.99$10.99$10.49$10.99
USA$4.49$8.49$4.99$10.49
South Korea$11.99$16.99$11.99$15.99
Australia$7.79$11.99$6.69$9.19roughly 2 weeks

Measured on 18 July 2026, in US dollars, cheapest rate in each case — a snapshot, not a price list and not a promise. Not every destination and not every item was measured individually; “—” means no measurement exists for it. What counts is always the amount shown at checkout, which also carries the expected delivery date.

Several pieces

Two rules, both measured: a second piece of the same kind costs considerably less than the first. Different kinds of goods add up instead — a hoodie, a cap and a poster to South Korea are $16.99 + $11.99 + $11.99 = $40.97. So to know what a hoodie and a cap cost together, add the two rows from the table above.

CartEUUSASouth Korea
1 hoodie$6.99$8.49$16.99
2 hoodies$9.39$10.99$24.99
Hoodie + poster$12.78$13.48$28.98
Hoodie + cap + poster$17.57$17.97$40.97
1 cap$11.99
4 caps$29.99
8 caps$53.99
8 posters A2$18.99

Same measurement from 18 July 2026. Eight caps to South Korea come to $6.75 each instead of $11.99; eight posters cost $18.99 instead of eight times $11.99. Posters travel in their own parcel, which is why they add to textiles.

Free shipping

Above a certain order value, shipping is free. What counts is the value of the goods in the cart after any discounts — excluding shipping. The cart shows how much is still missing to reach the threshold.

For some countries there is deliberately no threshold. The reason is honesty rather than marketing: a free-shipping promise is only made where the shipping cost has actually been measured. Where it has not, the real price is shown — and the producer’s volume discount is still passed on.

DestinationFree shipping from
USA and EU$150
Switzerland, Norway, Australia, Canada, Japan$250
All other countriesno threshold

The thresholds are derived from measured shipping costs, not estimated. The United Kingdom counts towards the last row for now.

Customs and import charges

Production happens where it is possible — which is why not every consignment crosses a customs border.

DestinationImport charges
EUAs a rule none. The measured consignments were produced within the EU and delivered within one to two days.
USAAs a rule none. Deliveries to the USA are produced in the USA.
United KingdomPossible. Framed posters are not produced there and cross the customs border from the EU.
Switzerland, NorwayYes, as a rule. Neither belongs to the EU customs territory.
Rest of the worldPossible. Where there is no local production — South Korea or Australia, for instance — the consignment comes from the EU or the USA.

Where import charges arise, they are not included in the price shown. They are borne by the recipient and usually paid on delivery; their level is set by the customs authority of the destination country, not by the seller. Which production site handles an individual order can vary. § 15 of the Terms applies in addition.

VAT

VAT is only collected for countries in which Typhora Group LLC is registered. Where it is collected, it is shown during checkout and included in the final price.

Why there is no flat rate

The shipping price is calculated for your specific cart and your specific delivery country before you pay. A flat rate would be too high for one order and too low for the next — so there is none.

If the amount cannot be determined at that moment, no estimate is shown — instead you are told that shipping cannot be calculated right now. An honest “try again in a moment” beats a number that turns out to be wrong.

Made to order

Every piece is produced after the order comes in. There is therefore a production time before dispatch. It is already included in the delivery date shown during checkout; no separate production deadline is promised here, because the figure shown at checkout is the more accurate one.

Tracked shipping

Standard shipping is tracked. Which carrier takes the parcel is only decided when the shipping label is created — no particular carrier is therefore promised here.

Countries delivered to

Delivery is made to the countries selectable during checkout. If a country cannot be selected there, delivery to it is not possible.

Country addendum: Thailand

Goods are shipped duty-unpaid (DDU) — the customer is the importer. Since 1 January 2026, Thai customs levies import duty and 7% import VAT on all consignments regardless of value; the postal service or courier collects these amounts, plus any handling fees, on delivery. These costs are borne by the customer.
